Andrew Palucci is a 17-year-old grade 12 student at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School in Oakville. He began cello lessons with Jean Grieve four years ago, and currently studies with Susan Gagnon at an RCM 10 level. He has been a part of the Hamilton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra for the past 3 years. Andrew has also played at a number of venues across the GTA, including retirement homes, and several Town of Oakville community events.
In addition to playing the cello, he has played the piano for eight years, and is currently studying to complete his ARCT Diploma.
Outside of music, Andrew is actively involved in a number of leadership activities at his school including his role as Grade 12 Student Council President. As well, he is a part of his school’s senior mentoring program, and a chair of the Relay for Life Committee. He also works as a barista, and enjoys mountain biking, and working out.
