Originally from Montreal, Cathy’s keen desire to travel took her to work in Banff, Miami and the Caribbean prior to returning to Toronto in 1974. She worked in the hotel industry before beginning what turned out to be a 31-year career with the Royal Bank where she held numerous positions. Starting at entry level in a Branch, Cathy moved on to various management positions including Branch Manager, Manager Electronic Banking for Metro Toronto, Manager Sales Processes, and retired from a Business Analyst position in Head Office Operations in 2007.
Cathy and her husband Bill have lived in Oakville since 1988. Cathy started her GOOD SIT Dog Training business in 2006 where she does private, in-home pet dog training.
She is also busy with their own Irish Water Spaniels.
Cathy is active in the Oakville Walking Fit Power Walking group and also enjoys pickleball, knitting and rug hooking.
