Sandra Litt has a diverse background volunteering with non-profit organizations and on arts boards. Being brought up in a musical family of educators, she believes that giving back to the community and being involved in the local arts is important.

Sandra holds a BA (McMaster), BEd With Distinction (Calgary), and MEd (University of Toronto). She spent her career as an public school educator, most recently teaching self-contained gifted classes. Sandra has a background in technology and programming, and enjoys facilitating online continuing education teacher courses in special education and computers for Queen’s University. She is also a Licensed Lay Worship Leader with the United Church of Canada and volunteers in a number of areas, including mentoring LLWLs and participating on the region’s Human Resource Commission.

Sandra is trained in classical piano, plays third clarinet in the Burlington Concert Band, sings with Southern Ontario Lyric Opera Chorus and VocalPoint, and is Oakville Choral’s President.
