Update on subscription renewals
Message to Oakville Symphony patrons:
The Oakville Centre box office has sent out an email to regular Symphony subscribers with an update about subscription renewals for next season. Here’s the latest news:
Renewals:
Due to the uncertainty of the coronavirus situation, subscription renewals will NOT be processed at this time. We hope to be in a position to confirm next season’s programming and proceed with subscription ticket sales by the late summer.
Details of the 2020-21 season, as originally planned by Music Director Roberto De Clara, can be viewed here.
We recognize that when the health authorities eventually allow large gatherings, many of us will be cautious about possible exposure to the coronavirus. We are sensitive to your safety and wellbeing, and to the comfort level of our musicians.
While the Oakville Symphony is very much a going concern, we anticipate changes to our programming including a delay to the start of the season. We will need to be flexible and creative for 2020-21, and are busy exploring options.
We will provide regular updates via the OS mailing list (which is not the same as the Oakville Centre’s) and via our website. Please sign up for these mailings on the home page so that you don’t miss our news.
Donations:
If you are able to make a donation to the orchestra, it would mean the world to us. You can do so by:
- E-transfer to office@oakvillesymphony.com, including your contact info for tax receipt purposes.
- Cheque, mailed to Oakville Symphony 310-200 North Service Rd West, Oakville ON L6M 2Y1
- Credit card, by clicking the Donate button on our website, or by calling 905 338-1462.
Tax receipts will be issued with our thanks.
Thank you for your understanding as we adapt our plans, doing our best to keep you and our musicians safe as the coronavirus situation develops. Stay well!
