Friends of the Oakville Symphony &
Symphony Innovation Fund
During the coronavirus outbreak of 2020, the orchestra is experiencing a time of great uncertainty. While we are confident that we will survive, currently we are unable to perform live. If you are able to donate now, you will help us to secure the future of the organization. The Board is making its best efforts to determine what that future will look like, and will provide regular updates via email and this website. To stay in touch, please sign up for our emails on the home page.
You may now choose between two programs to support:
- Friends of the Oakville Symphony is a program that encourages individuals to support the orchestra. Launched in the spring of 1997, the program now provides a significant proportion of the orchestra’s funding, and we rely on it to cover the expenses of presenting ten concerts a year. New Friends become non-playing members of the Oakville Symphony, a not-for-profit organization.
- For 2020-21, we are pleased to launch the Symphony Innovation Fund which has been initiated by Maestro Roberto De Clara. The Fund has been created to assist the Oakville Symphony to pivot to a digital platform for this season, and the Fund will continue to support innovative projects and programs in the future.
Please note that you can donate by credit card using the form below, or e-transfer funds to email@example.com or send a cheque to Oakville Symphony, 310-200 North Service Rd West, Oakville ON L6M 2Y1. Now, more than ever, we are grateful for our Friends of the Oakville Symphony. Thank you.
