Plan Your Visit / Symphony 101

Welcome to your Oakville Symphony!

We want to make every event as enjoyable and easy as possible. We strive to make you feel welcomed and here are some frequently asked questions so that you can be prepared to experience emotion and enjoy our concerts. As always, please contact us or the Oakville Centre if you have questions that aren’t answered here.

Our Main Concert Series takes place at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts at 130 Navy Street in Downtown Oakville. Our Mini Concerts for children take place at different Community Centre locations across Oakville. Additional concerts take place in a variety of venues in our lovely town!

The Oakville Centre is an intimate theatre with just 497 seats! All of the seats have a great view of the stage!

Tickets start from $20 for students and there are discounts for subscribers (25%!) and pick 3 (15%). There are also additional discounts if you are buying in bulk for a large group.

You do you! Dress comfortably or dress to the nines! We just want you to enjoy the show.

We start on Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm for our main concert series.

Make sure you are on time, as patrons are not seated while the orchestra is playing. If you are late, you will have to wait for a break in the performance to be seated. Don’t forget to stay after the show for a post concert chat with Conductor Lorenzo Guggenheim and our guest artist!

The Oakville Centre has a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks that can be purchased before the show or during intermission. Drinks purchased from the bar are allowed in the hall during the performance.

The Oakville Centre has been home to the Oakville Symphony since it opened in 1977 and is a cornerstone of Oakville’s Cultural Scene. The theatre is fully staffed and funded by the Town of Oakville and is located in the heart of downtown at 130 Navy Street.
