Violinist Lynn Kuo performs the world premiere of Felipe Téllez’s Violin Concerto, co-commissioned by the Oakville Symphony. The concert culminates in Florence Price’s Symphony No. 4, presented here in the first performance by a Canadian orchestra, a landmark work blending the symphonic tradition with African-American musical heritage.
