February concerts postponed due to Covid

The Oakville Symphony has made the difficult decision to postpone Conductor Showcase concerts that were scheduled for February 5 & 6, 2022. Although we are hopeful that the current Covid restrictions will be lifted by then, the musicians will not have had enough time to rehearse together given the logistical challenges of the current restrictions.

We anticipate scheduling a make-up concert in June 2022, and are exploring other local venues since the Oakville Centre is not available. We are committed to providing our February music director candidate, Pratik Gandhi, with an opportunity to work with the Oakville Symphony. Please watch for updates here on our website, or via email if you are on the Symphony’s mailing list.

The Oakville Centre Box Office will process an automatic refund of your February ticket(s) starting on Monday January 17th. However, we respectfully ask you to consider donating the cost of your ticket to the Oakville Symphony. Your donations assist us in maintaining our operations while we are unable to proceed with our regular concerts. Should you choose this option, your donation can be made through the Oakville Centre Box Office and you will be provided with a tax receipt. Please contact the Box Office directly by email/phone (boxoffice@oakville.ca or 905 815-2021) before Monday January 17th if you choose to make a donation instead of accepting a refund.
