Richard Cao is an active chamber musician who performs frequently in Toronto. He has played with string quartets for six years while working with members of the St. Lawrence String Quartet and the Gryphon Trio. He is studying violin with Joseph Peleg and was awarded a Gold Medal in the Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 10 examination.
Richard holds a Master’s degree in Piano Performance studying under Marietta Orlov and Lydia Wong at the University of Toronto. He was awarded a third prize in the piano category at the Canadian Music Competition.
Richard is currently pursuing a Master of Mathematics at the University of Toronto.
